Pink Floyd

I listen to Pink Floyd
because I enjoy their music.
I like the way they are very honest
about their feelings towards beans.

I can't help but feel a little sad
because what they sing about
sometimes applies to me.

They sing about pigs ruling the world.
It's not so far fetched.

They sing about feeling lonely.
I've felt that way before.

They sing about beating hearts against a wall.
It's true.

They sing about commercialism.
Well, there's not a lot to argue against that.

They sing about wanting to go home.
Doesn't everyone?

Pink Floyd helps me to understand
why  I must be strong.

  1. Explosions In The Sky
    and
    Four Tet taught me to
    shut
    my
    eyes
    and
    let me
    smell
    wanderlust.

    Have you
    heard of
    them?

  2. No but I checked them out from your links and they were both really amazing. If you ever want something a little more theatrical and controversial I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend The Wall by Pink Floyd. If you check it out, you have to listen to the whole album straight through in one sitting and have the lyrics in front of you. A truly moving musical experience.

  3. Oh but
    I listen to
    Pink Floyd's
    'Hey You'
    from
    time to time.

    'Standing in
    the aisles
    with itchy feet
    and fading smiles
    can
    you
    feel
    me.'

    I really
    can't get off
    the meat
    of this song.

  4. You gotta listen to The Wall all the way through. The whole thing. It will blow your mind. That song is part of a story.
